Every citizen, regardless of their position, must have the opportunity to participate in and contribute to the common development cause.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"auto\">The strength of the 54 ethnic groups and people of all religions must be unleashed on the foundation of equal opportunities, narrowing the development gap, preserving cultural identity, and caring for the vulnerable. Social consensus must be the result of democracy, dialogue, and the harmonious resolution of interests.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Innovate_the_activities_of_the_Fatherland_Front_bringing_the_voice_of_the_people_into_development\"><\/span><span id=\"3_Doi_moi_hoat_dong_Mat_tran_dua_tieng_noi_Nhan_dan_vao_phat_trien\" class=\"ez-toc-section\"><\/span><span dir=\"auto\">3. Innovate the activities of the Fatherland Front, bringing the voice of the people into development.<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"auto\">The 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front took place from May 11 to 13, 2026, and adopted 15 specific targets and 7 action programs for the 2026-2031 term. The programs focused on uniting the people; protecting legitimate rights and interests; enhancing supervision and criticism; promoting labor and creativity; promoting community self-governance; expanding people&#8217;s diplomacy; reforming the apparatus and digital transformation.\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/m.mattran.org.vn\/hoat-dong\/toan-van-nghi-quyet-dai-hoi-dai-bieu-toan-quoc-mat-tran-to-quoc-viet-nam-lan-thu-xi-nhiem-ky-2026-2031-70804.html\"><span class=\"text-token-text-primary cursor-text rounded-sm\" data-placeholder-token=\"true\"><span dir=\"auto\">[4]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"auto\">A key new development is the shift from meetings and slogans to concrete actions with clear objectives, clear responsibilities, and measurable results. The Fatherland Front must truly be a place where the people&#8217;s hearts converge, reflecting their will, protecting their legitimate interests, and connecting their strength. Fatherland Front officials must be close to the people, understand them, and pursue their legitimate requests to the very end.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"auto\">General Secretary To Lam also called for innovation in methods of mobilizing the people to adapt to changes in the social structure. Besides traditional residential communities, attention should be paid to workers in industrial zones, laborers in rented housing areas, professional associations, businesses, online communities, and Vietnamese people living abroad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"auto\">In June 2026, after the Congress, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front issued a plan to implement the action program and concretize the initiative &#8220;Month of Listening to the People&#8221;. Activities were implemented from the provincial to the commune level, paying attention to vulnerable groups; the results of resolving petitions and the level of people&#8217;s satisfaction were considered as a measure of effectiveness. Along with that was the Fatherland Front&#8217;s 24\/7 portal, the digitization of opinions and public disclosure of processing progress for people to monitor.\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mattran.org.vn\/Uploaded\/dieptmh\/2026_06_18\/ke_hoach_thang_nghe_dan_noi_TEAK.pdf\"><span class=\"text-token-text-primary cursor-text rounded-sm\" data-placeholder-token=\"true\"><span dir=\"auto\">[5]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"auto\">Digital transformation in the work of the Fatherland Front is not simply about putting documents online. The higher goal is to help the Fatherland Front get closer to the people, listen to the people more broadly, respond more quickly, and monitor the process of resolving petitions more transparently. Technology must become a tool to connect the Party&#8217;s will with the people&#8217;s aspirations.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_The_Vietnamese_community_abroad_%E2%80%93_a_great_resource_for_the_nation\"><\/span><span id=\"4_Cong_dong_nguoi_Viet_Nam_o_nuoc_ngoai_%E2%80%93_nguon_luc_lon_cua_dan_toc\" class=\"ez-toc-section\"><\/span><span dir=\"auto\">4. The Vietnamese community abroad \u2013 a great resource for the nation.<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"auto\">The Vietnamese diaspora currently comprises over 6.5 million people in approximately 130 countries and territories. This is an integral part of the national community and a valuable resource in terms of knowledge, technology, investment, trade, culture, and people-to-people diplomacy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"auto\">Remittances of nearly 18 billion USD are a significant contribution, but the greater value lies in the ability to connect Vietnam with world knowledge, technology and market centers.\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/baochinhphu.vn\/kieu-bao-huong-ve-coi-nguon-boi-dap-suc-manh-dai-doan-ket-dan-toc-102260428161254814.htm\"><span class=\"text-token-text-primary cursor-text rounded-sm\" data-placeholder-token=\"true\"><span dir=\"auto\">[6]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"auto\">It is necessary to continue improving policies, building a global network of Vietnamese experts, and creating a transparent environment; while also strengthening Vietnamese language teaching, programs on cultural heritage, and opportunities for learning and entrepreneurship for the younger generation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"auto\">Leveraging the resources of overseas Vietnamese should not be understood solely as attracting capital or encouraging repatriation. The past needs to be respected, appreciated, and lessons learned; at the same time, losses, prejudices, and divisions must not be allowed to continue to create a gap between people of the same origin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span dir=\"auto\">Trust is the foundation of national unity. Trust is only sustainable when the public administration is honest, transparent, and close to the people; when corruption, waste, and vested interests are dealt with severely; and when the people are informed, consulted, involved, supervised, and benefit from it.
