Saigon Ratings announces the invitation, welcome and recruitment of talented Credit Rating Analysts.
Saigon Ratings (SGR), an independent credit rating agency (CRA), has pioneered the development of Vietnam’s corporate bond market; and is also the first CRA of Vietnam, becoming the 27th member of the Association of Credit Rating Agencies in Asia (ACRAA). With a human resource policy to attract talents, a humane working environment and become a continuous progressive learning organization, Saigon Ratings has been attracting and gathering Vietnamese intellectuals and international experts from around the globe to join the talented staff of the organization.
Currently, Saigon Ratings is the first and only CRA in the domestic market, has cooperated with Fitch Learning to provide long-term training in international credit rating for analysts. Trainees will be examined, assessed for quality and issued a Certificate of completion of each course. From April 2022 to April 2023, Fitch Learning offered its first course and training to 20 students. In 2023-2024, with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Saigon Ratings and Fitch Learning will continue to coordinate to organize advanced professional knowledge training for the first and second courses for about 40 students of Saigon Ratings.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Research, learn, update and improve extensive knowledge of Vietnam’s international and macro economy.
- Research, learn, update and have a deep understanding of knowledge for the activities of Vietnamese economic sectors and fields.
- Research, learn, update and master the professional knowledge base Credit ratings of international CRAs and Saigon Ratings.
At the same time, personnel can participate in members of projects or research topics to update and improve professional knowledge Credit Rating, as assigned by the Board of Directors.
- Research, learn, update and have a deep understanding of the operation and business activities of the system of issuers in the domestic market, including financial institutions, enterprises and evaluation of debt instruments.
- Annually attend and complete international credit rating professional training courses, internal training and professional exchanges with international and/or domestic experts, according to the high-quality human resource development training plan of Saigon Ratings.
- Learn, master, fully understand and ensure absolute compliance with the professional process system, Code of Ethical Standards, Internal Control system and culture of Saigon Ratings.
- Perform the task of participating in professional activities of assessing the credit rating of financial issuers, enterprises and debt instruments in the market, with the role and responsibility of being an Analyst or a member of the Credit Rating Committee according to the work assignment plan of the Board of Directors and relevant professional department management personnel;
- Participate in the task of building, improving and comprehensively developing the value of resources in terms of professional knowledge base, information systems, big data to serve the professional work requirements of each individual and compete for sustainable development of the organization.
- Build, maintain connections and constantly strengthen close and effective working cooperation relationships with the Board of Directors, professional members (Analysts, members of the Credit Rating Committee) and domestic and international experts and advisors of the organization.
- For personnel who really wish to work for a long time, enthusiasm, high sense of responsibility, professional capacity and work experience, or have a lot of potential and ability in professional management, they will be fostered by the Board of Directors, train and step by step appoint to appropriate positions and managerial titles at all levels; associated with opportunities for personal career advancement and development.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates need to have a spirit of passion for professional dedication, a spirit of continuous learning and continuous progress and a high ambition for personal career development; along with striving to contribute to the organization.
- Have a university degree or higher majoring in economics, finance, banking, accounting, auditing, statistics, business administration, …
- Preference is given to level 2 for candidates with postgraduate degrees and/or national professional certificates issued by the Ministry of Finance and/or international professional certificates (CPA, CFA, ACCA, IFRS, …).
- Proficient in English and fluent in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; and readiness and integration capabilities combining IT and other Tools.
- Priority is given to candidates with 05 (five) years or more of direct work experience in relevant professional work and suitable to the requirements at financial institutions (commercial banks, investment funds, securities companies… etc) and large corporations and enterprises, with domestic and international reputation.
